MEET JAMEETA
Author, proud mother of a 27-year-old Carnegie Mellon University graduate, and a newlywed of two years, Jameeta wrote her book Laughing Down The Aisle after experiencing the ups and downs of wedding planning.
In 2003 Jameeta earned her BA in Business Communications from Carlow University, and works full time as a customer service professional. Why write about weddings? As a single mother for many years, “getting married was a huge deal”, and she wanted to spread the joy with others.
Jameeta was recently appointed to the board of directors for Angel’s Place, a non-profit focused on supporting the needs of single parents in Western PA. She loves birthdays, holidays, and spreading joy with her infectious smile and light filled energy.
