I don’t know who needs to hear this, but just because it’s summer doesn’t mean you have to be in your soft girl era, launching something new, traveling every weekend, or pretending you’re thriving if you’re actually running on fumes.
If you’ve been feeling tired—not just physically, but soul-deep tired—this is your sign to pause and reset. Summer doesn’t have to be about doing more. It can be about doing differently.
Here’s how I’m giving myself a gentle, grounded reset for a more intentional summer:
1. I’m Redefining “Productive”
I’ve spent enough summers trying to prove something—more content, more goals, more hustle. This time around, I’m shifting the focus from output to alignment. What actually matters to me right now? What needs attention, and what can wait?
Spoiler: slow mornings, real connection, and less screen time made the cut. Burnout doesn’t get to ride shotgun anymore.
2. I’m Clearing Space—Physically and Mentally
I’m not doing a full Marie Kondo moment, but I am releasing some of the mental and physical clutter.
Think:
🟩 Removing 47 tabs from my brain (and my browser)
🟩 Tidying up my workspace
🟩 Unsubscribing from the noise—both digitally and emotionally
Clearing space invites clarity. And I want a summer full of clear skies and clear energy.
3. I’m Creating Soft Structure
Total freedom sounds dreamy until you realize you’re just spinning in decision fatigue. I’m choosing a few gentle routines to anchor me:
🟩 Theme days for work
🟩 Coffee-first mornings with no phone scrolling
🟩 One non-negotiable joy activity each week (solo bookstore date? Yes, please.)
This kind of structure doesn’t trap me—it holds me.
4. I’m Letting My Body Lead
I’m done ignoring the whispers of my body until they turn into screams. Summer is an ideal time to move intuitively, hydrate like I mean it, and rest without guilt.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be honest.
5. I’m Letting Business Feel Good Again
Yes, I’m still working. But I’m also working differently. I’m streamlining, delegating, and focusing only on what moves the needle and feels energizing.
I’m not launching a new offer just because it’s Q3. I’m making moves that serve the life I’m building, not the illusion I’m marketing.
6. I’m Choosing Joy on Purpose
Joy doesn’t just happen—it’s something I have to choose. So this summer, I’m actively planning it in:
🟩 Pool days with my kids
🟩 Walks without AirPods
🟩 Random Tuesday morning iced coffees just because
Ready to Reset?
You don’t need a week off or a whole life overhaul. You just need a pause. A moment to check in with yourself. A willingness to choose intention over autopilot.
Your summer reset doesn’t have to be fancy. It just has to be yours.
