December might seem like the busiest time of the year because of the holidays. For me, yes it’s busy, but it’s also the perfect time to reset and recharge my body and mind before the start of the new year.
Here are some things that I’ve been doing so far this month to reset and recharge.
Reading
Me? Read a book? That’s unheard of. Ever since I was little, I’ve had such a hard time reading and comprehending words on a page. I was browsing in Barnes and Noble and came across this book called “Just F*cking Do It” by Noor Hibbert. I’ve been so engaged with this book because it doesn’t require lots of thinking and is actually useful. I’m only about 20 pages in, but I can tell you right now this book is perfect for relaxation and changing your mindset.
Staying Hydrated with Liquid IV
I feel like I am a broken record at this point, but I can’t say enough good things about this product. I have such a hard time drinking water and staying hydrated, but Liquid IV has my back. Check out all their amazing flavors and don’t forget to use code BEYONDBOSS_ for some $$$ off!
Working Out
Keeping my body moving this month is one of my top priorities. Which is no different than other months, but it’s moving to the top of my priority list. Even if it’s just for 30 minutes, get your body moving! Your body needs movement just as much as it needs rest. Go give my Instagram a follow @ashleyc.fit for all of your motivation, fitness, food, and lifestyle needs.
Retail Therapy
Ahhh yes. One of my favorite things. Are you one of those people who always goes into Target and doesn’t leave empty handed? Because same. Sometimes you just need that hour of self-care, so why not take a trip to Target and pick out a few things for yourself to enjoy?
Take this month to reset and recharge. Find things that you enjoy and make you feel at peace.
